About the 67' C10
Drivetrain
This rig features front and rear differentials with metal worm gears for durability, increased ground clearance, and strong mechanical drag brakes. Its two-piece, molded composite solid axles are designed for optimal strength. Steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and dogbones ensure the strength and durability needed for tough climbs and rough trails. Additionally, the splined and sleeved driveshafts allow for maximum suspension travel while maintaining power delivery to the wheels.
Suspension & Chassis
The SCX24 chassis, like the 1/10 scale SCX10, features rugged and sturdy steel C-channel frame rails with bracing to maintain alignment and integrity. Its rear suspension geometry uses a 4-link design optimized to reduce axle steer and torque twist. The inclusion of oil-filled shocks allows the suspension to articulate smoothly over rough terrain. Additionally, you can adjust the preload with 1mm, 2mm, and 4mm spacers to fine-tune your rig for optimal handling.
Body
The 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck features a timeless and distinctive body design that has made it an enduring classic. Its sleek, muscular profile is characterized by clean, simple lines, a prominent front grille, and rounded fenders that exude a sense of strength and durability. The cab is spacious with a large windshield and side windows, providing excellent visibility. The truck bed is both functional and stylish, with smooth, straight panels and a classic tailgate. Overall, the 1967 C10's body design perfectly blends rugged utility with vintage aesthetic appeal.
