Kyosho UM804 Side Guard Set Ultima SC6

This is the side guard set for the Kyosho Ultima SC6 short course truck.

Side guards are the panels that run along the outside of the chassis between the front and rear wheels, and on a short course truck they do real work rather than just filling a gap. They shield the chassis, links and electronics from the rocks and dirt thrown up by the front tires, and, more importantly in a class where door-to-door contact is normal, they take the rub from other trucks alongside you instead of letting a wheel get under your chassis.

They are consumable by design, and a set that has gone brittle or torn away at the mounting tabs stops protecting anything.

This is the genuine Kyosho replacement set, cut and drilled to match the original mounting points so it fits the SC6 chassis and body without trimming. Kyosho lists it as a spare part for the Ultima SC6 ReadySet. Fitting fresh guards is one of the cheapest ways to keep a raced short course truck looking and running the way it should.
