Traxxas 7839 Shock Tower Front

The shock tower is the mounting structure that carries the upper end of the front shocks and sets their mounting position. It takes the full load of every landing and every hard impact transmitted up through the suspension, which makes it one of the parts most worth having on the shelf before you need it — a cracked tower puts the truck out of action immediately and can throw off front suspension geometry well before it fails outright.

Supplied as the two-piece left and right assembly used on the XRT.

Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).

Direct replacement for the factory front shock tower, fitting stock mounting positions with no modification.
