Kyosho SIL0350-8 Silicone Shock Oil #350 80cc

Kyosho SIL0350-8 is a #350 weight silicone shock oil in an 80cc bottle. Damping comes from the piston forcing this fluid through its holes on every stroke, so the weight you choose controls how fast the suspension moves in both directions.

#350 is a light-to-medium weight. Lighter oil lets the suspension react quickly and follow rough ground closely, which is what you want on a bumpy or low-grip surface. The trade-off is less control on big landings, where a light oil lets the shock blow through its travel.

Because oil thins as it warms, a light weight that felt right on a cold morning can feel too soft by afternoon — keeping a couple of weights either side of your baseline is what makes that adjustable. The 80cc bottle is Kyosho's larger size.
