This is a genuine Traxxas center skidplate for the X-Maxx. The center skidplate shields the middle of the chassis from rocks, roots, and hard landings, protecting the driveline components above it.
Skidplates are designed to wear so the chassis does not — replace a ground-down plate with this factory part to keep the protection fresh.
