Powerhobby 1/10 Aluminum HeatSink (Motor Mount) w/Twin Turbo High-Speed 30mm Cooling Fans
Description
Help keep your 1/10-scale RC motor running cooler with the PowerHobby Aluminum Motor Heatsink and Twin High-Speed Cooling Fan System. Designed for cylindrical motors measuring approximately 36–38mm in diameter, this cooling upgrade combines an aluminum motor mount with two powerful 30mm fans to provide increased airflow around the motor can.
The dual-fan design helps remove heat generated during extended runs, aggressive acceleration, racing, drifting, off-road bashing, and other demanding driving conditions. Reducing excessive motor heat can help maintain more consistent performance and reduce the chance of heat-related power loss or thermal shutdown.
The aluminum heatsink clamps around the motor can to help transfer heat away from the motor, while the two high-speed fans direct cooling air across the heatsink and motor surface. Aluminum fan covers help protect the fan blades from debris and accidental contact while adding a clean, upgraded appearance.
The included power lead can be connected to a compatible open receiver channel, external BEC, or regulated power source operating between 6V and 8.4V. The blue aluminum finish adds a custom appearance to many 1/10-scale RC cars and trucks.

Fitment
This is a universal-fit motor cooling system for many 1/10-scale RC vehicles equipped with a cylindrical motor measuring approximately 36–38mm in outside diameter.
Common applications may include:
- 1/10-scale touring cars
- 1/10-scale drift cars
- 1/10-scale buggies
- 1/10-scale stadium trucks
- 1/10-scale short-course trucks
- 1/10-scale monster trucks
- 1/10-scale on-road vehicles
- Custom brushed and brushless RC builds
Fitment is determined primarily by the motor’s outside diameter and the available clearance around the motor. Before ordering, measure the motor can and confirm that your vehicle has enough space for the heatsink, both 30mm fans, fan covers, wiring, and mounting hardware.
This cooling system is not vehicle-specific. Some chassis layouts may require repositioning electronics, adjusting wire routing, or removing an existing motor cover to provide adequate clearance.
Installation Notes
Install the aluminum heatsink around a clean and unobstructed section of the motor can. Tighten the mounting hardware evenly so the heatsink remains secure without overtightening or damaging the motor housing.
Position the cooling fans where they can receive open airflow and are not blocked by the body, battery tray, ESC, or other electronics. Keep the fan blades and wiring away from the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, driveshafts, suspension components, and other moving parts.
Connect the power lead to a compatible open receiver channel, external BEC, or regulated power source supplying between 6V and 8.4V. Confirm the connector polarity and available current before applying power. Do not connect the fans directly to a power source exceeding 8.4V.
