Description

The PowerHobby Aluminum Motor Heatsink with Dual High-Speed Cooling Fans is designed to help reduce motor temperatures in compatible large-scale RC vehicles.

The aluminum motor mount fits motors measuring approximately 47–49mm in diameter. Two high-speed 40mm cooling fans deliver increased airflow across the motor to help control heat during extended runs, speed runs, and demanding driving conditions.

Aluminum fan covers help protect the fan blades, while the included JST Y-splitter combines both fan connections into a standard receiver-style plug for convenient installation.

Verify the motor diameter, chassis clearance, mounting space, connector compatibility, power-source voltage, and available current before purchasing.

Installation Note

Secure the aluminum mount around a clean section of the motor can. Make sure the mount cannot rotate or move during operation.

Keep the fans, covers, screws, and wiring away from the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, center driveshaft, suspension components, and other moving parts.

Connect the receiver-style plug to a compatible open receiver channel or external BEC supplying between 6V and 8.4V. Confirm connector polarity and available current before applying power. Do not exceed 8.4V.
