Help reduce motor heat in your Traxxas Bandit with the PowerHobby 30x30mm Cooling Fan Mount and Heatsink System. This vehicle-specific cooling upgrade combines a compact 30mm fan with an aluminum-style heatsink housing and dedicated mounting plate designed for the Traxxas Bandit platform.

The fan directs additional airflow around the motor area to help carry away heat generated during extended runs, repeated acceleration, off-road driving, and high-performance use. Improved airflow can help the motor operate at a more controlled temperature and maintain more consistent performance during demanding driving conditions.

Unlike universal fan installations that may require a custom bracket, this system includes a dedicated mount and installation hardware. The compact design fits neatly into the Bandit chassis while the black and red fan housing adds a clean, upgraded appearance.

The attached two-wire lead uses a receiver-style connector for connection to a compatible regulated power source. Always verify the available voltage, connector polarity, and current capacity before powering the fan.

Fitment is based on the vehicle’s motor-mount area and available chassis clearance. Modified vehicles, aftermarket motor mounts, oversized motors, relocated electronics, or nonstandard gearing may affect installation.

Before ordering, compare the product mount with your Bandit’s motor area and confirm there is enough clearance for the fan, mount, wiring, body, and surrounding electronics.

Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and turn off the vehicle before beginning installation. Secure the mounting plate in the motor area using the supplied hardware, then attach the fan so that airflow is directed toward the motor.

Route the fan wire away from the pinion gear, spur gear, motor shaft, driveshafts, suspension components, and other moving parts. Use cable ties or clips to prevent the wire from moving into the drivetrain.

Connect the fan only to a compatible regulated receiver, ESC accessory port, or external BEC connection. Verify the voltage, polarity, connector type, and available current before applying power. After installation, make sure the fan rotates freely and does not contact the body or nearby components.
