Aluminum Motor Heatsink + Cooling Fan 540 Size

Description

The Powerhobby Aluminum Motor Heatsink with Cooling Fan helps reduce motor temperatures in compatible Traxxas 2WD vehicles equipped with a 540-size brushed motor.

The aluminum heatsink clips around the motor can and uses multiple cooling fins to increase the available surface area for heat dissipation. The attached cooling fan provides additional airflow across the motor during extended running and demanding driving conditions.

This heatsink is designed for 540-size brushed motors only and is not intended for larger 550-size motors or brushless motors.

Designed for vehicles using a compatible 540-size brushed motor. Verify the installed motor size, available clearance, fan connector, and receiver or BEC output before purchasing.

Installation Note

Clip the heatsink securely around a clean section of the motor can. Make sure the heatsink, fan, and wiring do not contact the motor shaft, pinion gear, spur gear, driveshafts, or other moving components.

Power the fan only from a regulated DC source between 5V and 6V. Do not connect the fan directly to a 2S or 3S battery.

Before connecting the fan to an ESC or receiver, confirm that its BEC can provide sufficient power for the fan and other connected electronics.
