Description

Fine-tune your RC vehicle’s gearing with a Powerhobby Hardened Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear. Designed for motors with a 5mm shaft, these gears provide the strength and durability needed for high-power RC cars, trucks, speed-run vehicles, and drag-racing applications.

Each pinion features two set-screw holes for a more secure attachment to the motor shaft. Two M4 grub screws are included, allowing the gear to be secured from multiple positions and helping reduce the chance of the pinion loosening during high-speed operation.

Multiple tooth-count options are available to help you adjust acceleration, motor load, and top-speed performance. Lower tooth counts generally provide quicker acceleration and lower drivetrain load, while higher tooth counts may provide increased top speed when properly matched to the motor, ESC, vehicle, and spur gear.
