Description

Fine-tune your high-power RC vehicle’s gearing with a Powerhobby Hardened Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear. Designed for motors with an 8mm output shaft, these heavy-duty pinions provide the strength and durability required for large-scale RC vehicles, speed-run cars, drag-racing builds, and other high-performance applications.

Each pinion features two set-screw holes and includes two M5 grub screws for a secure connection to the motor shaft. Six machined cutouts help reduce weight while maintaining the strength needed for demanding high-speed use.

The larger tooth-count options are ideal for performance setups where increased top speed is desired. Higher gearing also increases the load placed on the motor, ESC, and drivetrain, so temperatures should be checked frequently after making a gearing change.
