The black oxide coating provides a clean finished appearance and helps protect the steel surface. Available in several tooth counts, these gears allow you to fine-tune acceleration, motor load, and top-speed performance.

A lower tooth-count spur gear generally provides taller gearing and increased speed potential. A higher tooth-count spur generally provides quicker acceleration and reduces the load placed on the motor.
