Traxxas 10533-GRAY Gray Aluminum Upper Suspension Arms

The Traxxas 10533-GRAY is a set of adjustable left and right front upper suspension arms that boost the appearance and strength of the 4-Tec Drift. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction adds strength and precision, finished with a brilliant anodized surface. Includes 2.5x5 mm screws (2).

These are a hop-up over the standard composite arms rather than a like-for-like replacement. Billet aluminum resists the flex that plastic arms develop under cornering load, and that rigidity is what makes suspension geometry hold its intended values instead of shifting slightly every time the chassis is loaded. On a drift car, where the driver is making continuous fine corrections at the limit of grip, consistent geometry is the difference between a car that feels predictable and one that does not.

The arms are adjustable, so front camber can be tuned rather than accepted as fixed. Camber controls how much tyre contact patch is maintained through steering angle, which is central to how a drift chassis behaves.

Machining from solid billet also produces tighter tolerances at the pivot points than moulded parts achieve, which reduces the slop that accumulates in a suspension system over time.
