Traxxas offers the medium GTX spring in ten rates so you can tune XRT suspension performance or compensate for a lighter or heavier vehicle setup. The higher the rate number, the firmer the spring. At 5.543 this is the stiffest spring Traxxas offers for the XRT.

A stiffer spring reduces chassis roll and increases steering responsiveness, at the cost of some mechanical traction. Run this when the truck is carrying heavy batteries, or when you are running fast on smooth ground and the softer rates are letting the chassis bottom out.

Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).

Direct replacement for the factory spring and fits the stock GTX shocks with no modification.
