Traxxas offers the medium GTX spring in ten rates so you can tune XRT suspension performance or compensate for a lighter or heavier vehicle setup. The higher the rate number, the firmer the spring. At 3.14 this sits in the softer half of the XRT range, a step up from the 2.89.

A softer spring increases chassis roll and mechanical traction and is more forgiving over bumps, but is more likely to bottom out on hard landings. A stiffer spring reduces roll and sharpens steering response.

Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).

Direct replacement for the factory spring and fits the stock GTX shocks with no modification.
