Kyosho 36117 KRF 5.5mm Box Driver

The 36117 is a 5.5mm box driver from Kyosho's KRF tool line, sized for the 5.5mm lock nuts used on wheel hubs across most of Kyosho's electric and nitro range.

A box driver, sometimes called a nut driver, slips over the nut and grips all six flats at once, which is why it is the right tool for wheel nuts instead of a socket on a ratchet or, worse, a pair of pliers. It seats fully, will not round the corners of an alloy nut, and lets you get a wheel on or off in seconds between heats.

The 5.5mm size is the one you will reach for most often at the track. It covers wheel nuts on buggies, truggies, touring cars and short course trucks, and Kyosho lists it as compatible across platforms as varied as the Optima, Turbo Scorpion, Javelin, Plazma, Inferno GT2, Fazer and Monster Tracker, plus their glow airplane range.
