Description

The Powerhobby 579MG is a high-performance digital brushless servo designed to deliver an excellent balance of speed, torque, and durability for demanding RC applications.

At 8.4V, the 579MG produces up to 430 oz-in of torque with a fast transit speed of 0.07 sec/60°. Its high-efficiency brushless motor provides smooth and responsive performance, while the programmable digital circuit and high-precision magnetic position sensor deliver accurate servo control.

The servo features heavy-duty steel gears, a strengthened high-chrome steel output shaft, triple ball-bearing support, and a heat-sink-style case for improved cooling. Its IP67 waterproof construction makes it suitable for compatible on-road vehicles, off-road vehicles, trucks, boats, aircraft, helicopters, robots, and custom RC applications.

Servo settings can be adjusted using a compatible Powerhobby USB programming device, sold separately.

Installation Note

Confirm that the receiver or external BEC can safely provide the selected operating voltage. Carefully adjust the servo horn, linkage, and endpoint settings to prevent binding, excessive current draw, overheating, or servo damage.

Although the servo is IP67 rated, avoid prolonged submersion. Clean and dry the servo after operating in water, mud, snow, or other harsh conditions.
