Description

Fine-tune your high-power RC vehicle’s gearing with a Powerhobby Hardened Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear. Designed for motors with an 8mm shaft, these heavy-duty pinions are well suited for large-scale RC cars, speed-run vehicles, drag-racing builds, and other high-performance applications.

The hardened-steel construction provides dependable strength and durability under high motor power and drivetrain loads. Each pinion includes two grub screws for a secure connection to the motor shaft and added resistance against loosening during operation.

Multiple tooth-count options allow you to adjust acceleration, motor load, and top-speed performance. Lower tooth counts generally provide quicker acceleration and reduced drivetrain load, while higher tooth counts may increase top speed when properly matched to the vehicle, motor, ESC, battery, and spur gear.
