Description

Fine-tune your RC vehicle’s gearing with a Powerhobby Hardened Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear. Designed for motors with a 5mm shaft, these gears provide the strength and durability needed for high-power RC cars, trucks, speed-run vehicles, and drag-racing applications.

Each pinion features two set-screw holes for a more secure attachment to the motor shaft. Two M4 grub screws are included, allowing the gear to be secured from multiple positions and helping reduce the chance of the pinion loosening during high-speed operation.

These larger tooth-count options are designed for high-speed gearing applications. Higher tooth counts may increase top speed but also increase motor and ESC load, so gearing should be carefully matched to the motor, spur gear, vehicle weight, battery voltage, and driving conditions.
