Description

The Powerhobby SM900 is a high-voltage programmable digital servo designed for demanding RC steering and winch applications. It arrives configured as a standard servo and can be converted into a winch servo by changing the firmware with the compatible Powerhobby USB Link and software, sold separately.

The SM900 features a powerful four-pole brushless motor, strengthened stainless-steel gears, a 25-tooth output spline, and a durable aluminum housing. Operating from 4.8V to 8.4V, it produces up to 68 kg-cm—or approximately 945 oz-in—of torque at 8.4V.

An aluminum servo horn and mounting hardware are included. When configured for winch operation, the compatible Powerhobby PH1000 winch spool is required and sold separately.

Important Winch Conversion Note

The SM900 arrives programmed for normal servo operation. Converting it to winch operation requires the compatible Powerhobby USB Link and programming software. The Powerhobby PH1000 winch spool is also required for winch use. Both accessories are sold separately.

Installation Note

Confirm that the receiver or external BEC can safely provide the selected operating voltage. Set the servo endpoints carefully to prevent linkage binding, excessive current draw, overheating, or servo damage.
