Tamiya 56312 1/14 Volvo FH12 Globetrotter 420 Tractor Truck Kit

Volvo's FH12 Globetrotter 420 became the brand's flagship truck after its fall 1993 release and was named Truck of the Year in 1994, powered by a 12-liter turbocharged diesel engine known as the Euro 2. Tamiya's 1/14 scale kit brings this classic semi to life with ABS plastic body panels and a durable chassis built from aluminum side channels and resin cross members.

Power is delivered from a front-mounted motor through a propeller shaft to the rear axle, with built-in differential gears for smooth cornering. The 3-speed transmission shifts via a separately sold 4-channel transmitter, and the leaf-spring suspension with friction dampers adds to the scale realism. A coupler is included so the truck can connect to any of Tamiya's current 1/14 scale trailers.
