Traxxas 5869A SCT Tires Wheels Front

The Traxxas 5869A is a pair of assembled and pre-glued tire and wheel units for the 2WD front position, combining an SCT chrome wheel with a blue beadlock-style ring, licensed BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 tires and foam inserts.

Fitment matters here. On a 2WD Slash the front wheels are narrower than the rears, because the front axle carries no drive load and a narrower track sharpens steering response. This part is the front-only version. If you need the rear or a 4X4 corner, use the 5867A instead.

The KM2 tread is a scale reproduction of the full-size BFGoodrich light-truck tire, with the staggered lugs and reinforced sidewall shoulder of the original. It bites into loose dirt and gravel while staying predictable on hardpack, making it a solid all-round steering tire.

The beadlock ring is molded styling rather than functional hardware, so nothing needs assembling. They arrive glued with inserts fitted and mount straight to the hex.
