Kyosho SC229 Gear Set Scorpion 2014

Kyosho SC229 is the transmission gear set for the Scorpion 2014, supplying the three gears that make up the gearbox in one pack: the differential gear, the slipper gear and the upper transmission gear.

These gears carry everything the motor makes, so stripped or chipped teeth are one of the more common failures on a re-release buggy that gets driven hard. Buying the set rather than chasing individual gears lets you rebuild the whole gearbox in one go and know all three parts are meshing on fresh teeth.

Kyosho lists this set for the Scorpion 2014. Dealers also list it for the Turbo Scorpion, Beetle 2014 and Tomahawk 2015 Legendary Series cars, which share the same transmission. Note that SC229B is a separate metal counter gear option and is not the same part.
