Description

Fine-tune your high-power RC vehicle’s gearing with a Powerhobby Hardened Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear. Designed for motors with an 8mm output shaft, these heavy-duty pinions provide the strength and durability needed for large-scale RC vehicles, speed-run cars, drag-racing builds, and other high-performance applications.

Each pinion features two set-screw holes and includes two M5 grub screws for a secure connection to the motor shaft. Six machined cutouts help reduce rotating weight while maintaining the strength required for demanding high-speed use.

These larger tooth-count options are intended for high-speed gearing setups. Higher gearing may increase top speed but also places additional load on the motor, ESC, batteries, and drivetrain. Always confirm that your motor mount provides enough adjustment and monitor operating temperatures closely.
