Traxxas 5881X SCT Kumho Tires Front

The Traxxas 5881X is a pair of assembled, pre-glued tire and wheel units for the 2WD front position, pairing SCT satin chrome beadlock-style wheels with licensed Kumho tires and foam inserts.

Check fitment before ordering: on a 2WD Slash the front wheels are narrower than the rears, since the front axle carries no drive load and the narrower track improves steering feel. This is the front-only version; the wider 4WD and 2WD-rear equivalent is 5880X.

The Kumho tread reproduces the full-size Kumho light-truck pattern at scale. Its tightly spaced blocks give a larger contact patch than an open mud-terrain design, which shows up as consistent, predictable front-end grip on packed dirt, groomed clay and hard surfaces.

The beadlock ring is a molded styling element, not functional hardware, so there is nothing to assemble. These arrive glued with inserts already installed and mount straight to the hex.
