Traxxas offers the medium GTX spring in ten rates so you can tune XRT suspension performance or compensate for a lighter or heavier vehicle setup. The higher the rate number, the firmer the spring. At 4.594 this is one of the stiffer options in the XRT range, suited to heavier setups and fast, smooth surfaces.

A stiffer spring reduces chassis roll and increases steering responsiveness, at the cost of some mechanical traction. A softer spring does the opposite and is more forgiving over rough ground.

Fits: Traxxas XRT (78086-4) and XRT Ultimate (78097-4).

Direct replacement for the factory spring and fits the stock GTX shocks with no modification.
